Terms and Conditions


There will be a standard 30 sessions in each academic year, within school term times. Details of timetables can be obtained from the PAS office. Credits are not given for sessions missed by students, nor are they made up. Special dispensation may be given on medical grounds by the Head of Service. If PAS has not been able to deliver the contracted number of sessions by the end of the academic year a refund will be issued.


Payment for sessions is required termly, invoices are sent out during the term and should be paid within 14 days. Failure to pay fees will lead to the withdrawal of membership of the group.

Payment methods: Direct Debit, Bank Transfer, online, phone, post, at the bank or the council house.


Free classes are offered to children whose parents/guardians are in receipt of certain benefits. This concession is in line with Coventry City Council’s Free School Meals Policy.

Evidence to support the claim should be shown at the PAS office or a photocopy sent to the address below.

Children are currently entitled to free classes if their parents/guardians are in receipt of:

  • Income Support (IS)
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA)
  • Immigration & Asylum Act 1999 (Part VI)
  • Employment & Support Allowance ESA (IR)
  • Child Tax Credit only if income is less than £16,190 per annum Award Notice TC 602
  • Pension Credit (Guarantee Element) & Proof of Child Tax Credit


Students who have siblings or immediate family members who attend PAS Performance Groups are entitled to a £5.00 discount on their fees. This is also applicable to students who are in more than one group. One group must be paid for in full and the discount will be applied to subsequent groups. Only one £5 discount will apply per membership. This only applies to student under the age of 18 years. Please ring the office for further details.


Written confirmation of withdrawal must be sent by letter to the address below or sent in via email to

Failure to notify us of withdrawal will lead to an invoice being sent. When withdrawals are made part way through the term, fees will not be refundable.


On the application form we request the mobile number and e-mail address of the student. These are the preferred methods of contacting students at short notice to notify them of changes to classes/cancellations etc. All messages will also be sent to parents to notify you of the changes.

Please note that PAS is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the course. Participants are strongly advised not to bring valuable items such as mobile phones, MP3 players and money.

Staff will have access to a mobile phone in case of emergency.
