Big Sing – Friday 31st March, 2017 – Albany Theatre

Big Sing! is an exciting opportunity for primary school children participating in

Mornings of Music, to be a part of a great celebration of singing at the Albany Theatre.

The event will incorporate the songs already learnt at Mornings of Music, and will also feature

two brand new songs for the children to learn and sing together on the day. Led by Katherine Fear of the PAS and accompanied by a LIVE BAND! We want the voices of our children to be heard across Coventry and beyond!

Adverse weather conditions

Guidance on Extreme Weather Conditions

In the event of extreme weather conditions we advise you to listen to local radio stations (BBC Coventry & Warwickshire; Free Radio; Heart FM or Touch Radio) or check the information at or to ascertain whether the venue that your group takes place at is in operation.

If the venue is closed Coventry Performing Arts (CPA) will endeavour to inform you by telephone that the group is cancelled as soon as possible.

If the venue is open, please use the following guidelines:

  • Each group leader will use their experience and professional judgement in deciding whether to run the group, bearing in mind the conditions on the premises and the distance you will have to travel to attend the group.
  • If there is any doubt as to the safety of participants on the site, the group leader will err on the side of caution and cancel the group.
  • Remember to consider your own safety when travelling to and from the venue.

If you are in need of any further information or clarification in the event of extreme weather conditions please contact CPA at their office on 02476 788575 Yael Owen-Mckenna Joint Head of Service and/or Mark Allison Joint Head of Service at the earliest opportunity should you have any queries.

CPA will of course, continue to monitor the situation.
